Has anyone tried a water\methanol injection setup in their trucks? Here is one of the websites that sell it:

I was thinking about adding it since I get knocks sometimes in the warmer weather and this is supposed to boost the octane rating and add a few HP. Any advice would be appreciated!

on a stock engine or even bolt ons in my opinion would not be worth it, if you are getting knock you need to get a tune done, if you do get meth you definently need to get a custom tune,
I would go with Alky control. very nice kit and customer service is second to none.

Ok thanks for the info Mark. I do have the Westers 89/91 tune but still seems to knock sometimes even with 92 in warmer weather. I'll check out the other kit you mentioned.

BTW, do you have any 1/4 times yet with the new setup??

had it for a day and a half and lost second gear,had to reschedual my photo shoot with truckin Mag for sometime later this month, my break in tune with 25 miles on the new engine was 730 RWHP and 805 ft lbs
and that was a very mile 12 psi, wait until I turn it up to 20 psi and let the fun begin.
