Has anyone replaced their LSD with an after market unit? I have used Eatons LSD in the past and have had great results. But I have never used one in a QS. Anyone? Also has anyone put a Eaton E-locker in their front differential?

I don't know of anybody replacing the rear diff yet. I do know that you can't put in a limited slip or locker in a GM IFS diff. The diff is aluminum and to weak. We are stuck with the open diff.

Actually, the front diff. on the 6 bolt IFS cannot accept a locker because no one makes a locker to fit. But the 8 bolt 9.25 IFS can accept a locker and is plenty strong.

It's about time. I have been waiting years for a front locker. Since I put a detroit locker in the rear. I was told many manufactures have tried without success, due to the aluminum housing. So who is it? I need one now.

Eaton makes the ELocker for the GM IFS 9.25/8 bolt front end. Only the 1500HD or 2500 QS came with this front diff.

So how has the detroit locker worked for you in the rear of your QS? Seems pretty agressive for a QS.
