When I am driving in 4WD (which is not offen) or Auto 4WD as the truck slows down I get a grinding rubbing noise at 20-15 MPH in the front end. I had the front diff oil changed at grease monkey because they said the front diff was realy dirty (this was before the noise) After is started making the noise so I had the dealship rechange the front Diff fluid. They said to drive it for about 100 miles so it can get worked in. They said the oil from grease monkey that they took out was burned. I was wondering of anyone else has had any problems with the front end. If I switch to 2WD the nosie goes away imediatly.

I would think its just a wrong diff oil problem but at grease monkey they said my front diff oil looked very dirty when they changed it.

Maybe the numbskulls at Grease Monkey charged you for a fluid change, but didn't change it. Or they put the wrong fluid in.

I never did trust those chain places.

Looks like it was the wrong fluid the front end after about 50 miles is alot quieter (sp?) I hopping that takes care of the problem. Well as a new quadrasteer owner I have learned a few things in the first 3 months. USE ONLY FACTORY LUBRICANTS FOR YOUR QUADRASTEER!
