Hi,
I am looking at a 2005 Suburban LT 6.0L engine 4x2 with the Quadrasteer. I have a concern with the expected life of the Quadrasteer system and am wondering if anyone out there has a high mileage vehicle they can comment on. Chevy no longer puts these on, so I'm concerned that if there is a problem, I'd be stuck.

The Suburban is in really good shape and I keep my vehicles up to about 200k miles so need to be able to rely on this truck. It will mostly be used by the soccer mom, with some towing and long trips thrown in over the next 10 years.

Any other issues I should be aware of with a 2005 Suburban with the 6.0 engine?

Thanks!

Yes, I'd get one. Especially if you plan on towing.

The Suburban Quadrasteer is even more manuverable than the Quadrasteer trucks, since the Suburban have a shorter wheelbase.
