Hi there wingswest.

A bonus for you would be some records of maintenance from the seller about the fluids used.

On a test drive, with driving the truck forward/reverse and in circles, are you hearing any popping or grinding?

The use of correct diff fluid on the QS rear is essential for long worry-free life. The QS has proven very reliable, with years of field testing before being put in production.

If it all works out, I say go for it, you'll love it!!

Nice looking truck and great color. Cool

Depending on your mileage, think about changing the fluids in the engine and driveline. I do the driveline components at 30,000 miles(apprx. 48280 km). Don't forget the use of the correct fluids for the QS differential.

Use the recommended fluids(noting the part numbers) and search and read the forum. There's some great info, including those fluid specs, for you.

Good Luck!!

OK i will do that.

The truck has now 66000kms and i can check with the dealer where the previous owner has been going for the maintenace of the truck, then i know witch fluids that he used for the QS and al the rest of the engine.

thanks for the great information. Smiler

Welcome to the Club… Smiler

I am sure you will enjoy the truck and especially the agility of the QS on winding and narrow European roads. Just make sure to put the right rear differential fluid and do not trust the dealers, always check the fluid part numbers.
