I'm considering buying an 02 Denali quadrasteer. Does anyone have any advise on what to look for in a used quad truck? Also what type of service issues have you had and how much was it to fix? Thanks.

I belive that the quadsteer came out on the 2003, 2004, and 2005's. I just bought a 2005 Denali on Jan. 1, 2008. I love it. The guy I bought it from want's it back. I am sorry for his loss. You can't change the rear gear oil enough on these, every 30,000 miles. GM has an oil only for the quadsteer rear end. #12378557, it takes three 32 OZ bottles. Drive it around for at least 5 miles. Pull the drain plug on the bottom and replace it and fill the rearend till it comes out of the fill plug on the side. This oil costs $80.00 but use only this GM oil.

Q-steer came out in 2002 for the Denali's and stopped in 2004
Chevy had them until 2005
very important to use the correct rear Diff flud, but don't full until it comes out the hole. 1/4 in chrom the hole is recommended.
