Well first off I have an 02 Sierra Denali and I'm thinking of a camper. I also fish so unless I go tandem a trailer or fifth wheel is tough. I have a cdl and I'm really good with a trailer but different states have different doubles laws alot to keep track of. My boat weighs in at 2600lbs dry no trailer brakes. The slide in camper I was looking at is 1500lbs dry. Trying to figure out if I'm trying to do to much. I'm sick and tired off going camping and packing and unpacking all my stuff my wife wont leave anything at home. Is it to much weight? Precautions I can take? airbags shocks brake upgrade. Any advice would be awesome.

I think you would be ok if your trailer had brakes. I would also get a Hensly Arrow weight distributing hitch. If the weight seems to much leave wife home Big Grin
