Someone please help me. The sunroof on my 05 1500HD does not close all the way. Ic closes further than the first pop up stop, but not completely. I have checked for debris and there is nothing.

Unfortunately it is a Sunday and no service guys work today. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Oh-ohh... Be glad you don't live here right now- we've gotten some serious amounts of rain this week Eeker !!!!!

Does the motor hum or hear gears grinding or skipping ?? What's it do- just stop ??

The dang thing just stops, like it thinks it completely closed! I knew I never wanted the dang sunroof! bang head

I should go back to the dealer and insist he "remove" the sunroof and return the truck to stock with no sunroof!!!!!!!! If he did that, I don't think I have the guts to ask for a credit back for the price paid on the sunroof!

Luckily I'm in California, and it NEVER rains here. Wink

Hmmm.... maybe there's a limit switch out of adjustment ??

Man, we've had quite a bit of rain here lately, and now Emily is right around the corner, and we're expecting another 2~4 days MORE rain !!!

That's bad news 'round here. First, the ground is already saturated, and even when it's not, our bayou system leaves a lot to be desired !!!

Thankfully the wife and I both have tall vehicles for which to cross the rivers that will undoubtedly form !!!!

Well, I am taking it to the dealer tonight and picking it up tomorrow. Hopefully they get it fixed. I have given them a list of items

1) Sunroof
2) Memory positions on driver seat don't remember
3) Check autoride suspension and severe vibration around 70-75
4) Level out front of truck. Driver side is 1-2" higher than passenger side

I guess if they only fix the first two items, that's cool because I know the lift/leveling kit that I want to add in the future will take care of items 3 and 4!

Mr.Q, you do know how to swim, right????? Hoepfully the weather doesn't do much damage. Water can be VERY unforgiving. In soCal, we have seen the destruction first hand.

I've heard of that seat position issue before... hopefully they'll fix that right.
