Welcome to the club. When cold all of my LS1 (in the trucks) motors have ticked and sqweeked. Usually a belt and/or a tensioner takes care of the that. The chatter should stop once oil gets into the lifters. If it persist after warm up I would get it checked out. Assuming you have checked your fluids and what not.
