I have an 03 sierra denali with 42000 miles on it. I got the service 4 wheel steering light to come on apparently after I put my jetskis in the water. The light stayed on permanently and it defaulted to 2 wheel mode. I took it to the dealer and they told me it was the rear steering position sensor. Also when I got it back all 3 lights on the dash stay illuminated, whereas before only one would be illuminated. all three stay on. I ordered a new sensor and put it in and the light in the DIC went away, but the 3 lights on the dash stay illuminated and it won't go into 4 wheel mode. The old sensor was full of water. I called the dealer and they told me it was a "pindle switch" which i have no clue what that is. Any advice on how to fix this would be great as I am pulling my hair out. thanks, michael

I can do some looking in my manual, a trouble code would help if you got that from the dealer.

I don't believe it is giving a code as there is no error in the DIC.

here's the TS for multiple lights on the 4WS switch - hope it helps - there may be some DTCs stored that would help Troubleshoot as well - even though the light isn't on. If you need some diagrams or plug end pinouts to work through this let me know what specificly you want and I'll post or send the to you.

If you have some of the diagrams that would be awesome, so i can figure out exactly what connectors are where and to determine what wires are which. you can email me anything you might have at fozziez28@msn.com or post. Thanks for your help!
