i'm looking at purchasing a 1500hd quadrasteer loaded - for about $20k with 24k miles on it. i thnk it's a pretty good deal

but i can't find a QS nearby or even a 1500hd to test drive - evidently the dealerships can't keep them in stock. you guys think this is a decent deal?

what is the turning radius for a QS? what about a regular pickup?

thanks
nate

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra ext cab. I tried to find the exact numbers, but couldn't. If my memory serves me right, my truck, with QS, had a turning radius of around 39 ft, vs 43 ft for a standard pickup.

upjeeper,

Go for the QS, you will never look back once you start driving it. I have had mine just over 2 years now and love it. Also the looks from others as they realize your rear wheels are turning is wonderful.

Sounds like you are or were Air Force. Hope you have enjoyed your time, I did 21 1/2 years before my retirement at the end of 2003.

Have a nice day.

I located two articles on the web that listed the QS turning radius for a pickup as 37.4 ft. vs 46 ft without QS.
