I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have a 2005 GMC 1500HD QS, and i need to replace my tie rod ends in the front. My problem is that the chilton book shows the tie rod end going through the top with the nut on the bottom, but mine is set up with it going through the bottom with the nut on top. Can someone tell me which way is the right way?

Your truck is correct. The nut is on top.
