I have an 02 Sierra Denali QS.
I pull a fifth wheel with it. It weighs 9K lbs (10K is max) and it pulls it like a dream, but when I get hooked up the rear end sags too much. I am looking for an air bag leveling system for it, but they all seem to say that they do have any for a QS. I have seen the other entries that state that we can use items (lifts, ect.)that are for a standard 1500. Is this true for the leveling systems also??? Thanks, Bob |

I installed the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 kit on a 1993 3/4 ton chevy truck. This kit sits on top of the leaf spring and the top bracket bolts to the frame rail. I looked at my 2005 Gmc Crew cab QS to see if it would fit. This should work on your truck with 5,000 lbs. I have used air bags for years and have found that, bigger is better. You must chain the rearend before you lift the truck on a service lift. If you don't then the air bags could rip as the rearend drops. Get the on board air compresser system. Get the 3/4 ton kit for a GMC or Chevy truck. Your spring system is more like the 3/4 ton then the 1/2 ton. I bought my kit from JC Whitney.

I believe there are members who installed air bags on QS trucks. Have you considered timbrens? http://www.timbren.com/
