I just had a Corsa Sport exhaust system installed on my truck and I am without words on how awesome that system is. It does what it says, quiet when it needs to be and bold when you want it. How Corsa is the only outfit to figure this out is what will put them on the map.

If you are thinking of changing your exhaust to something more agressive from stock, look at the Corsa, yes they are pricey, but you can find deals occasionally on eBay.

Guys with 1500HD's and 2500's:
Corsa doesn't make a kit for these trucks specifically, but the 2500HD kit can be modified by a comepetant muffler guy. It's what BigCountry did that got me to do it too. It's not something that I would do in my driveway, but for $50 - $100, my time is worth more than that for the frustration I would not have to endure trying to install this myself.

All in all Corsa Rocks!

I've had mine for about a year. The thing I like in comparison to other systems, like the magnaflow, is the sound doesn't change from the initial install.

I'm sure you've done this while at the muffler shop, but getting that Pro Series tip welded on is an unfortunate necessity, people will take them.

By the way, given any thoughts on a cat forward system to link into that Corsa.

Congrats on the system, SS Crew.

This is the last mod I'm doing to this truck, I've already dumped too much money into this thing. I don't think I can get any more performace out of this engine in its current configuration. The next step would be a total engine overhaul with performance parts and / or a supercharger installation. Too much money invovled for me. The next truck will be a diesel that can easily be modded with a simple programming attachment like a Banks or Edge unit.

It's cool isn't it! headbang

Is theft of these tips that big of a problem? Mine is just clamped, not welded.

I love my Corsa as well. Then added on the Dynatech Supermaxx header system, love the sound even more now.

As for the tips coming up missing, mine were stolen about 6 months ago. After purchasing a new set I had them tac welded so I don't lose them again.

Enjoy the sounds and have a great day.

The tips aren't cheap and only takes one time. With the few minutes it takes to weld it on, why give the scumbags a free gift.

How true is that. Which is why I don't understand the people who buy a vehicle like the Ram SRT-10. For the money, you can easily buy a Ford/Chevy diesel with the same torque rating and do those type mods to come out ahead in the long run...along with the durability aspect of the diesel for peace of mind.

If they offered a Hot Rod diesel truck that looked like the SRT-10, I'm sure they'd sell like hotcakes.

Probably because most people look at diesels as slow, smoke belching work trucks. It hasn't been until the last 5-7 years that people other than Banks started deciphering the engine computer codes and found out that a few computer tweeks can give you a couple hundred more horsepower and gobs of torque....and get better fuel mileage at the same time.

But a diesel has its cons like:
The smell of diesel fuel.
The rattle of a diesel engine (The new ones are much quieter).
The greater expense of an oil change (12-16 quarts vs 6 quarts for a gas engine).
The frequent fuel and fuel/water separator filters needed.
....and of course, the smell of diesel exhuast, (but that can change if you burn 85% or higher of bio diesel, which uses either produce oils or used vegetable oils, like from restaurants)

After the first turbo diesel(Audi) taking the 24 hours at Le Mans, this year, probably is the wave of the future.
