I've never been sure whether lots of steam from the exhaust after warmup means a rich tune, a lean tune, or nothing at all. Mine seems to puff quite a bit even when its not really very cold, and no other cars are doing it. Would my Westers tune have anything to do with this? Dont worry, there are not any signs of a head gasket problem or anything like that.
The only reason I ask is that my mileage is still so bad that I thought maybe it indicates I still need tweaking.

I haven't had a westers tune but other tunes that I have had had given out exhaust smoke when running a little rich...more so when I kicked it to the floor you could catch a puff of smoke in the mirror. Wish I could say the smoke was from the tires but it wasn't...Have you contacted westers yet?

Yeah, I've actually had it re-tuned three times, going with a hotter tune each time to try and help the mileage. Its not smoke though, its steam.

Check your plugs to see if you have a cracked head. And check your coolant to see if it has an oily film or has a gasoline smell to it.

I've got a 91 Hot Tune and mine only steams when it's cold in the morning.

As far a smoke from the tires - Ha! I wish, this thing is dog out of the hole. It doesn't come alive until 2500 rpm (even with the custom tune).
