Hey everyone. I installed the Corsa cat-back exhaust system on my truck. Was wondering how important is it to have the system welded together instead of just using the clamps that came with the system. One guy at the hobby shop where I did the install said I should at least have the connection between the cat and the muffler welded. The rest could just be connnected with the supplied clamps.

Maybe someone that's done it the other way will chime in, but every exhaust I've ever done, I've used the clamps to get me to the shop to get welded...

If you've got the dual side outlet tips make sure you weld that connection to keep anyone with a crescent wrench from stealing your "sweet looking $200 tip".
I'd really have the whole system welded unless you plan on removing it sometime in the future.
