The second run I lost. His 13.1 @ 102 mph to my 13.5 @ 99.3 mph
He sprayed a 150 shot on the last run. The first run his bottle got to hot and had to much pressure so the solenoid didn't open up, He iced down his bottle befor the next run. Can you explain "bigger Heat exchanger with 12in fan" for me? (air/water exchanger for the Radix?) Sounds like you have 3 cooling fans? Did you completely rebuild the engine? Or replace parts listed only? What is your rev limit set to now? This message has been edited. Heat Exchanger, I put one about twice the sixe of the stock Radix HX Cooling fans, I actually have 5 fans, 2 E-fans for the radiator, one for the Heat Exchanger which also cools the Radiator since it is in the front of the Radiator. I also have it conected to the Radix intercool pump. So when engine is off while I am in the stagging lanes at the track I can flip a switch and my intercooler pump and fan will come on and help cool my Radix before I run again. and 2 10in fans for my tranny coolers My shift points are 6000rpm in regular mode and 6200rpm in Tow Haul, So my rev limiter is probably set a couple hundred above that. Right now I have just what is listed in my sig. BUT, I am in the process of getting info on a rebuild. Magnason will be coming out with the new M122 in a couple of weeks. Which is bigger than the M112. Should put me at 750 RWHP. I don't think my stock engine will handle 14 pounds of boost. So I will either pull out and forge the 6.0 or do a 408 stroker. Another idea I am floating aroung is putting the LS7 427 7.0 Corvette motor in it. Kinda expensive but checking out all my options. I will than need a 4L80 tranny to replace my fully built 4L65.It is a shame because I just had it rebuilt a couple of weeks ago, I broke the Hub on the Torgue converter and that took out my pump. Was rebuilt under warranty. It was a manufacture defect with the TC, Nothing the builder did wrong and nothing that my Horse power did. So I will probably be selling my built tranny with less than 500 miles on it. If I go with the LS7 I will have a low 13 second engine for sale also.
