... for the wipers and steering shaft, and added the squeaky as hell rear brakes. Man, they're terrible. Was supposed to get it back tonight but it's staying another night....

Anyone else got the squeaky rears ?? I was going to pull them apart and use some lube on the slide portions.... Figured while it was in, let them hassle with it...

I was supposed to get a Malipoo loaner, but got a GMC Canyon instead thumbs up !!! It's actually a pretty neat little truck. I would LOVE to have this thing to drive to work everyday. I bet it gets sweet mileage. And add a Wester's tune- woo-hoo !!! It'd haul butt !!!

But, gawd- it is LITTLE !!!! Half the truck Quadzilla is !!!!

It's got the 3.5L I5. I've heard nothing but belly-aching about this motor, but it's not a bad little motor. It scoots the little crewcab along nicely. Revs to 6000rpm in first !!!!

I hope to get my G-Tech before I return it so I can pull some numbers with it burn out !!!!

Anyway, not a bad looking little truck. Add some bigger tires and it'd be alright....

Got the truck back finally buds !!!!

Got a new wiper module and new steering shaft. The bozo that did the shaft got my steering wheel off a spline or something, it ain't straight pissed ... I bitched but didn't want to wait. I need an alignment anyway, so I'll fix it then.

And about that Canyon Roll Eyes .... It's a nice truck, but after spending a bit more time in it, it definitely needs more motor. It zips around town great, it's quick enough off the line, barks them fairly easily (wimpy tires, tho), but above 45mph, it's getting winded. By 55mph, passing takes a whole bunch of throttle and a downshift... or two. Short-legs. It'll go 80 easy, but from 55 on up, there's not a whole lot of reserve power available.

Nothing a Wester's tune, electric fans and an intake couldn't cure, tho !!!!!

I have a few other things with that truck- when you turn the key to start it, there's like a second delay before anything actually happens. Weird at first but you get used to it.

The brakes are WAY too grabby. Too much initial bite by far, and even at low pedal pressure, just too much bite. I never did get used to them.

The new rear drums are freaking HUGE !!!!!! No wonder they work so well !! They take up the entire center of the 15" wheel.

The interior is nice, but the seats are completely unsupportive for even the slightest spirited driving. I did not like that at all. But they are comfortable.

Rear seat room wasn't bad, but it'd be too little for me to sit behind myself for any long distance, and I ain't tall. Perfect for youngin's tho Wink . For short trips it'd be fine. Comfortable seats other than that.

Not a bad little truck, but definitely needs the I6. Or a few cheap mods....
